Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your data to the best of our ability. We process your data based on the legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). Below we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

General

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. If personal data (e.g., name, address or email addresses) is collected on our pages, it is always done on a voluntary basis wherever possible. This data will not be shared with third parties without your express consent.

Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., communication via email) may have security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of data from third-party access is not possible.

Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide, including your contact details, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions.

Your accommodation request can only be used and sent to us electronically if you explicitly agree to this privacy and data usage policy by checking the appropriate box.

This data will not be shared without your consent. Please refer to our full privacy policy in this regard.

Server Log Data

To resolve potential errors and ensure the smooth operation of the website, server logs are created that may include IP addresses. Like many other website operators, we host our website on the servers of a professional service provider.

IP addresses are not personal data by themselves, but theoretically they can be linked to individuals with the help of certain tools. Additionally, the time, browser type, and accessed page are stored. These logs are deleted after one month.

Use of Cookies

Our website uses “cookies” – small text files stored on your device by your browser. They do not cause any harm.

Cookies help make our website as user-friendly as possible. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them, allowing us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

If you do not want this, you can configure your browser to inform you when cookies are set and to allow them only in individual cases. Please note: Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Web Analytics

Our website uses web analytics services, namely Google Analytics and Matomo.

Google Analytics is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Matomo is hosted on the servers of Studio Zmart, Zangerl Martin, Alte Gasse 9, 6580 St. Anton am Arlberg (used by Zmart clients with the CMS Cmart).

Cookies are used for both services to analyze the use of the website by users. The data collected is transmitted to and stored on the servers of the respective provider.

You can prevent this by configuring your browser to not store cookies. Your IP address is recorded but immediately anonymized – the last eight bits are deleted, allowing only rough location identification.

Data processing is based on § 96 (3) TKG and Article 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.

Why do we use web analytics services? To continuously improve our offering and online presence in accordance with GDPR (legitimate interest). However, since we highly value the privacy of our users, all user data is pseudonymized.

Google Tag Manager

Our website also uses Google Tag Manager. This is a solution that allows website tags to be managed via a single interface.

Google Tag Manager itself does not use cookies and does not collect any personal data. It only triggers other tags, which may collect data themselves. Google Tag Manager does not access this data.

If deactivation has been performed at the domain or cookie level, it remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Casablanca Hotel Software

We use Casablanca Hotel Software on our website to process bookings.

The relevant privacy policy is displayed or linked directly within the booking process.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, erase, rectify, restrict processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent or object to data processing.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been infringed in another way, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
